Free Mirror

I recently found a mirror, in perfect condition at the junkyard where I work, my boss said I could take it home, but later I realize every time I go to look at my reflection it’s not me but a little girl in a white dress. I started to get scared to I took it back to the junk yard. Just as I set it down in a pile, the girl pulled me in.

Sisters

The two sisters, as young girls, braided each others hair, borrowed sweaters, met boys at dances, and shared endless secrets, dreams, hopes and fears.
