I didn’t know I was a twin until I was sixteen.
It was the same day I was accused of murder.
Vampire
The new vampire twirled the crucifix in its fingers, took a bite of garlic and washed it down with a sip of holy water.
“None of it is true?” he asked, squinting in the mid-morning sun.
Monster
The first date of 2008 went really well.
We talked and laughed and the monster under the bed kept quiet because he is scared of girls.
Tea for Two
He brought her a cup of hot tea (perfectly sweetened with honey) and when she thanked him he said, “I used the dipper in the sky, the big sparkly one — I wanted you to have celestial tea.” She thought for a moment that she saw stars in the cup.
12:07
I look at the clock and realize it is 12:07 as I scream and yell, blood dripping down my arms as she sinks her nails deeper and deeper into them. I wake up thankful it is only a dream. My heart starts to pound again after I read the time on the clock, 12:06.
Dinner
After leaving my mother’s funeral and find out that know one has found her body, we come home and I tell my father that I’m hungry, then he tells me supper will be ready in 20 minutes, 20 minutes later I come into the kitchen, and sit down. My dad lifts the lid of the dish he has made, it looks like chicken legs, so I take a bite, and right after I do my fathers says, “Doesn’t you mother taste great?”

Punishment
I sweat and pant, and scream, but all that my father says to me is, “Honey you just 3 more years.” Little did I know that my punishment for not coming home on time would be to stay in closet for 3 years.

Well, when I say “see” I really mean “watch”.

Free Mirror
I recently found a mirror, in perfect condition at the junkyard where I work, my boss said I could take it home, but later I realize every time I go to look at my reflection it’s not me but a little girl in a white dress. I started to get scared to I took it back to the junk yard. Just as I set it down in a pile, the girl pulled me in.

Later I realised I could have read out fortune cookies and you still would have thought we were having a conversation.
