I look at the clock and realize it is 12:07 as I scream and yell, blood dripping down my arms as she sinks her nails deeper and deeper into them. I wake up thankful it is only a dream. My heart starts to pound again after I read the time on the clock, 12:06.
Dinner
After leaving my mother’s funeral and find out that know one has found her body, we come home and I tell my father that I’m hungry, then he tells me supper will be ready in 20 minutes, 20 minutes later I come into the kitchen, and sit down. My dad lifts the lid of the dish he has made, it looks like chicken legs, so I take a bite, and right after I do my fathers says, “Doesn’t you mother taste great?”

Punishment
I sweat and pant, and scream, but all that my father says to me is, “Honey you just 3 more years.” Little did I know that my punishment for not coming home on time would be to stay in closet for 3 years.

I recently found a mirror, in perfect condition at the junkyard where I work, my boss said I could take it home, but later I realize every time I go to look at my reflection it’s not me but a little girl in a white dress. I started to get scared to I took it back to the junk yard. Just as I set it down in a pile, the girl pulled me in.

A babysitter asked me to remove a life-sized statue of a clown from my living room while I was gone, it was scaring the children.

We were out in the woods “did you see that?” “did you hear that?” she would ask, I saw nothing, I heard nothing. As we ran deeper into the woods it got darker and darker, I asked “did you hear that?” I was alone, he got her.
Sister
I was in my bedroom and I heard my sister calling me from the kitchen. My sister lives abroad.
Cursing
Last night I had an itch that would not let me go to sleep, and I knew what it was; however, as hard as I tried, I could not reach it. So, I stood up all night cursing the person that forgot to take my toe tag off before I was buried.

Gone Fishing
That old unreliable outboard motor suddenly surged forward throwing me overboard while I was still tying off the cord on the disgusting smelly chum bag.
I could feel the nylon cord tightening around my ankles as I was being dragged through the murky deep, fish guts steadily leaking from the hessian bag when I came to the harrowing realisation that I was now human bait.
