Stinking and tired he hauled Christopher from the river then, grabbing the nearest vine, he tied it about his waist and started to search frantically for Emily. The waters were raging as the rain poured down as she swept past him screaming and clinging for life on a splintered remnant of the boat he had built them.
One day when I was feeling mellow I went to the beach and let out a bellow.
The sky was quite green and the sea it was yellow,
just like a nice old jaundiced fellow.
My throat was cut, my hands and feet bound, I slowly sank into the river as the world became darkness, my thoughts lingering around the dark shapes who threw me in.
And here I lie, telling my story to all I pull down, again and again, forever and always, till my ropes are cut.
